Allepakcok is the best worst band you’ve never heard

“Austin’s greatest mistake”

Allepakcok: Seriously Unserious Sonic Extravaganza

Allepakcok is an abomination first birthed by multi-instrumentalist, producer and musical imposter, Tre Pham, in partnership with synth fanatic and King Gizzard super-fan, Jackson Presley “Mustard” Brooks.

It all began from Ween covers and a quest to dominate the high school battle of the bands circa 2015, and today they are able to terrorize the entirety of the Austin music scene, accompanied by the beefiest rhythm section in Texas. Lee “Girthquake” Chavez joined the project with his impeccable guitar, bass, pedal steel and vocal harmony chops, as well as his taste for cheese and joyous laughter.

Together they produce spacey psychedelic soundscapes as a backdrop to tight funky grooves, poppy catchy melodies and four part harmonies that work most of the time. Unforgettable and unwanted kazoos, vocal beatbox cameos, seamless instrument switching, and the occasional Smash Mouth interlude create a musical performance that is hilarious first, and even sometimes sounds good.
